Environment & Culture icon

At Duke, we see the environment as the natural spaces, buildings, and sense of place found within the campus and health system. The culture of Duke is the atmosphere, customs, patterns and quality of life found within the campus and health system as it pertains to all members of our community. The environmentis the structure that the culture takes place within.
